Albert
What is petes test cartridge? Pete's Test Cartridge is a diagnostic cartridge for the 5200. You can use it to calibrate controllers as well as colors. I used to use it frequently when I was building Redemption adapters for the 5200. More details at AtariProtos.com: http://www.atariprotos.com/5200/software/petestest/petestest.htm ..Al

+FujiSkunk
Asteroids was never officially released for the Atari 5200. In this case "reproductions" refer to home-made cartridges designed to look like official releases of games that didn't actually see an official release. Atarimania shows it as commercial/released with Atari number. And copyrighted by Atari.?????

Atari8bitCarts
http://www.atariprotos.com/5200/software/asteroids/asteroids.htm Thanx, typically Atarimania denotes titles as prototype.
+FujiSkunk
AtariMania doesn't make a very clear distinction between games actually released and games slated for release and then cancelled. Nevertheless, Asteroids for the 5200 was in fact cancelled.
Atari8bitCarts
So Atari proto's holds the copyrights for these titles I assume. That must be nice.
+FujiSkunk
Atari holds the copyright. AtariProtos.com is a fan site run by a very dedicated fan.
