I kinda agree and disagree with some of your post, for me and I dont mean this disrespectfully cuz a lotta people love them but the multicasts for me, well the ones Ive tried, the 138/150/161 in 1 have all been pretty bad, in fact rubbish. Again mean no disrespect as lots of people love them and if summit like the SD wasn't out there I think they'd be great but for me, everything has to play perfect I mean the non transparent 'life' bar in KOF03 would kill me no end! But where I do agree is, is the SDPro a big enough leap from the SD to make me part with another £500/500+just 8months since I bought my original, and with that Im not sure? Personally Ill still torn. MJ I know it's not disrespect. But if you take that 161 and the 138 they have basically the entire worthwhile library on the two outside of the hacks on there. Yes both have a few hang ups with a game or two that could be dodgy or broken, and the 161 has a need for a resistor or two needing to be added to fix the audio problems, but once tweaked they're rock solid and load up like a real game would beyond the menu. I don't think they should still be dismissed because in the end a major good thing of a flash kit tends to be what more you can do beyond the norm, and there's really no homebrew for the system nor is there really much with protos or oddball hacks that aren't on a cart already either. Even the NGPC has a solid little list of projects people made that add that angle of value to the kit from RetroHQ for it. I'm not dismissing terraonion and their updated toy but given what the slow stock one runs for that holds one game I fear the added cost this one will incur when they announce it, something they likely could have already but won't due to I'm betting sticker shock. Because of what the 161 did not have I liked I ended up picking up those games along with a few other favorites it does so the kit personally makes no sense to me. Sure it would be nice to meddle with Sengoku 2 and TSS (though I have TSS in that PC based paid emulator download) on a real cabinet I can't see (guessing) paying $600~ or more to get 2 carts I'd like to own but don't in use as a ROM on a SD card in a kit. Ships summer/autumn 2018. The production quantity will be round up to the next multiple of 50. Left overs will come as usual at a higher price. To make the new cartridge easily distinguishable we created a new insert, new cartridge label and manual cover. Also the holographic sticker clearly shows that it's a new print. Number range >4000. Software wise it's identically to the first AES print, with the one change that credits can be added via [select Button] / v1.6 --------------------- Kraut Buster Current state of Kraut Buster development: With the finalboss fight done, we are now in the end phase.The final boss fight got bigger and cooler than initially planed years ago, for the last phases we gave him a new dramatic scrolling room and a giant golden war vehicle. One last bigger task is creating and animating the female soldier character (Valeria). After we have added the 3rd character we can start the final phase of beta testing. The two pixel artists will then focus on graphical details likeBackground animation / destructible objects / parallax scrollingFunny animations / general detailing / adding more life to the world. This will take about 6-8 week. NeoTurboManiac Posted March 7, 2018 Share Posted March 7, 2018 try setting the unibios to skip cart check if i rember correct thats an option in the unibios i will be back in my store tommorow and have a 6 slot with a unibios i can double check for you i would love to have a neo geo mvs flash cart but damn they are proud of them just to expensive for my taste ( why im sticking with my 161 cart and modded neo geo x ) if it gets closer to 150 $ i would be willing to buy I was able to reset the UniBIOS and now the game works. It's actually cheaper to purchase them from their shop page. It cost me $563 dollars for getting the JPN version today. Once they stop and you see them on ebay, they want those titles well over $1,500 dollars from flippers. So I always recommend those to acquire them now rather than regret it later. Also, the Euro plays in important role too. Few years ago when I bought the 1st print of Fast Striker, it cost just over $800 dollars due to the Euro being strong. Compare to it then & now, I would go for it while gamers still can without thinking twice. Anthony.. I really wish they'd wise up and serve a mass market appeal with like some Android version or a Windows release people could use USB neo geo (or other) joysticks on. Agree, they should release their games on support like steam or PSN. They could still make money by selling AES/MVS games to the Neo geo fans, and make more by selling at a normal price to the rest of the gamers. The Psikyo interviews are pretty good also http://shmuplations.com/psikyo/ Since they are missing a few details the previous company they are talking about is Video System which did AeroFighter series, they left do to Neo Geo, as they didn't want to do a Horizontal monitor shooter. Psikyo did make a 1945 for the Neo Geo after Strikers 1945 II, using some assets from Striker 1945 I and 1945 II. Also why Sengoku Ace(Samurai Aces) , Gunbird and Dragon Blaze are considered the spiritually successors of the Aerofighter series as they have the same design team and some of the game assets.
