You should see the one I took since it's even worse! I posted it a while ago, but what you can't see in the photo is that the pixels were flickering in and out of existence for some reason. I have been meaning to try a new PSU to see if that fixes it and haven't gotten around to it yet. I've also been considering getting a Neo Geo with a lower serial, as well, as those are generally better than the 3-6 I have now and the 3-6 apparently has backwards audio in the headphone jack. I actually play with headphones sometimes, so I'd like to actually not have backward stereo!

My Neo Geo AES is a very late model (SN 390169) and I have had no issues that you are experiencing. I do use a modern 9V psu with mine (as my model is a PRO-POW3 9v model) and this is the PSU I use:

Yeah, I am using the SNK PSU that came with my Neo Geo. I am probably going to Akiba tomorrow to buy that Sonic Pocket Adventure demo cart, so I might as well try to find a new PSU while I am there. I have enough money to buy a new Neo Geo, but I'd rather save that money to buy Garou: Mark of the Wolves next month (if the one I found is still there).

Released in October 1996 and set in the year 1786, #SamuraiShodown IV by #SNK is a cracking addition to my #NeoGeo CD collection with an incredible soundtrack to boot. I don’t know why I expected it to be any easier than it’s predecessor’s though #NGCD #retrogaming
