mbd30
A Mobile Suit Gundam game was originally released for the Arcadia in 1983. That's a bit of a shocker. http://videogamecritic.com/arcadiamz.htm#Mobile_Suit_Gundam_%28Japan%29

high voltage
Wow, back in the day the Japanese would not develop for a western console, so that's kinda rare.
CatPix
Well, the thing here is that the Arcadia 2001 was a "rebrand-it" system. So it was not really a Western console since it was all sold by Bandai, and not just a import system : (even if it was still conceived by Philips and made in Hong Kong, probably by Soundic) So they either made the game themselves or asked the team developing the games in Hong Kong to adapt some Japanese franchises to sell it better. Apparently the unhappy looking kid on the bottom didn't get some of the drugs that everyone else was taking.
