godzillajoe
BTW Stunt Cycle *does* exist, right? Though it was never released.
bennybingo
BTW Stunt Cycle *does* exist, right? Though it was never released. Again…same kind of deal as Elevator Action. It was one of those games that got a limited release at CGE a while back.
godzillajoe
Again…same kind of deal as Elevator Action. It was one of those games that got a limited release at CGE a while back. Is it considered "finished" ? Someone should finish Elevator Action. Never understood buying a half-playable game.
bennybingo
Stunt Cycle was 100% complete.
+Gemintronic
Treasures of Tarmin should exist. Does exist. Just needed a little hacking to take out the branding I bet. The ROM Hunter wasn't impressed by my idea to re-make it. What say y'all?
godzillajoe
Stunt Cycle was 100% complete. Until right now, I didn't know this was a PADDLE game. No wonder it never made sense.

I think a new paddle game is inevitable
+Atarius Maximus
I bet a pretty playable Tron could be done given today's cheap ROM space for the levels. Most of the basic gameplay already exists in one for or another on the 2600. Tron was attempted but is incomplete. It's a pretty cool demo, though.
20ohm20
Plus, something with Ferris Bueller in it. I would buy this.
littleman jack
Bosconian (There is someone working on a clone of this in the homebrew section--Yippee!).
atari181
Apparently started, but AFAIK not found, THE HULK!
bomberpunk
TMNT Arcade, in glorious blocky form with the complete soundtrack and voice samples on the AtariVox. (one can dream)
godzillajoe
Ant Eater was supposedly finished. Wish it was dumped and released. What's the point in holding on to it? At most you'd get a couple thousand for it. Hardly retirement money.
Torr
Apparently started, but AFAIK not found, THE HULK! I just got a Parker Bros game catalog and noticed that myself the other day. The box art had a very similar styling to Spider-Man... and I don't remember ever hearing of it on here like other advertised-but-unreleased games. I meant to do a little research on that and forgot... know what I'm gonna do...

Either he has one or has seen it in person.

Nesbroslash
If this was possible, it would be an interesting homebrew to play.
iesposta
If this was possible, it would be an interesting homebrew to play. My God, this is weird! They were just as crazy then as now. Bye bye!
Nesbroslash
Ehh, not the weirdest arcade game I've seen by a long shot. If you really want to see a weird Japanese arcade game, play Trio the Punch. Now THAT is a weird game.
SoulBlazer
That looks like a good game, actually. Reminds me of a cross between Space Invaders and Galaga, and defentily doable on the classic systems.
AlecRob
Id like to see some nintendo game & watch games remade on the 2600, such as: Fire Oil Panic Turtle Bridge Manhole Judge Vermin Mickey Mouse/Egg Mario's Cement Factory Chef Octopus I think all those would be doable.
+bfstats
Anything Blue Sky Rangers is STILL holding on to (WHY???!!!) like the aforementioned Ant Eater and especially LocoMotion. DAMN those guys piss me off! Oh, and Flesh Gordon. Even if the proto is never found, we need a ROM to go with the great ad for it which can be found here: http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-2600-vcs-flesh-gordon_20319.html Hmmm... in looking for the ad I found a thread here: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/134775-flesh-gordon-adults-only-2600-game/ ...where yuppicide took a whack at it.
