Can't Update Profile

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I can't seem to update my profile. Each time I try, I get an error message saying "Oops, something went wrong!" and something about a problem with the URL. I've tried Firefox and Rekonq. I'm using Debian Wheezy (Debian 7). Perhaps the browsers are too old?

Thanks for any help!

Bump.

I tried the suggestion from the RT link (deleting the http), but no luck.

Is this affecting anyone else?

I've also tried using my wife's MacBook Pro. Still the same error.

Instead of deleting everything in that box, what happens if you put a URL in it? Try this and see what happens:

The saying is "trust, but verify," but I trusted without verifying. I think I should be punished by being locked inside of a huge jar stuffed full of Jelly Bellies.

I'd poke holes in the top of the jar so you'd still get some air.

I misunderstood which field you meant, so I deleted the address/url up top of my webpage. I didn't realize there was a field in my actual profile settings that needed to get the boot.

So I did as you and GroovyBee suggested correctly and it worked. Thanks again. You gave the right answer right away. And it took this long to get into my thick skull.
