littleman jack
Hello, I can't seem to update my profile. Each time I try, I get an error message saying "Oops, something went wrong!" and something about a problem with the URL. I've tried Firefox and Rekonq. I'm using Debian Wheezy (Debian 7). Perhaps the browsers are too old? Thanks for any help!
+Random Terrain
I wonder if this would help: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/223686-which-input-is-allowed-in-edit-my-about-me-page/?p=2962362
littleman jack
Thanks RT. I played some Seaweed Assault today. So double thanks.
littleman jack
Bump. I tried the suggestion from the RT link (deleting the http), but no luck. Is this affecting anyone else? I've also tried using my wife's MacBook Pro. Still the same error.

Try this and see what happens: http://atariage.com/
littleman jack
Thanks RT. It was worth a try. I tried it, but it didn't work, so I tried a variety of URLs from pages leading to the profile update page. Maybe it's a browser issue? GroovyBee
Go to edit your profile and in the field "Website URL" remove the http:// line. That should fix it.

GroovyBee
He already said that didn't work. The text is still there on the OPs profile so he hasn't deleted it.

The saying is "trust, but verify," but I trusted without verifying. littleman jack
The saying is "trust, but verify," but I trusted without verifying. I think I should be punished by being locked inside of a huge jar stuffed full of Jelly Bellies. I'd poke holes in the top of the jar so you'd still get some air. I misunderstood which field you meant, so I deleted the address/url up top of my webpage. I didn't realize there was a field in my actual profile settings that needed to get the boot. So I did as you and GroovyBee suggested correctly and it worked. Thanks again. You gave the right answer right away. And it took this long to get into my thick skull.
