intvnut
MTE-201 does run with LTO Flash. You need to have an appropriate config file with it though. I'm not sure if all the MTE variants ended up in our CFG database, though. I don't remember if my older PONG ROMs run on real hardware. I know at least some of the earliest versions initialize the STIC and PSG incorrectly, giving a purple screen and corrupt sound effects. Do you have jzIntv set up? If so, do these ROMs play in jzIntv?
freewheel
I've got 3 versions of the MTE-201, only one of which runs properly on the Flash. This is the kind of ROM that would be awesome if we could get Keith's permission to re-distribute. In the meantime, we'll write our own system test ROMs.
lgallair
Has there been any thought given to create an LTO overlay? I, myself, rarely uses any of the game overlays and thought it would be nice if there was an LTO overlay which shows what the buttons all do. Perhaps down the road the menu can be adapted to use the keypad to jump to various letters of the alphabet; much like the keyboard add-on does. I was thinking the same thing but I was thinking of it as kind of a humorous thing to do or as a limited edition thing from a third party person because the LTO Flash is not a actual game and there are not that many options to remember most of the options are on the screen the un listed keys are 8 reloads the directory, 5 lists some kind of technical info on the ROM or directory, top side action buttons are like enter, bottom side action buttons are like back or clear. carlsson
Today I held my LTO Flash! in my mouth for about two minutes. It might sound entirely weird, but the fact was my both hands were full with other items, I was in a place where there was nowhere to put down the cartridge and it left me with bodily openings of which I strongly opted for holding it between my lips for as long as I had to. (And yes, it still worked afterwards)

It would be great if we had a place with all .bin or Roms available listed with links.. For AtariVCS and Intellivision it's easy to find original roms. The problem is to find all homebrew games released, not only free roms but commercial roms too. I found this page useful: http://www.intellivision.us/roms/roms.php

Kiwi
I do have a game, work-in-progress game in the programming forums called Towering Inferno. You can find it in this thread. http://atariage.com/forums/topic/257429-towering-inferno-for-the-intellivision/ One of the sound effect,Getting hit/Final Hit, didn't work right on the Intellivision 1 console. I will upload a new ROM tomorrow after I try it again on the Master Component.

Kiwi
Here's the rom file for ''The little blue bastards'' Enjoy! Forgot the .cfg file: Open notepad. type(or copy n paste) [mapping] $0000 - $1FFF = $5000 $2000 - $2FFF = $D000 $3000 - $36FF = $F000 And then select All Files from the "Save as type:" box. Name it BlueBastard.cfg and save it in the same folder as BlueBastard.bin and the game should boot. I finally jumped up to the box tonight!!! I didn't try ducking to get her skirt to come off.

Kiwi
Guess what I had in my mailbox Yesterday? A gift from intvnut!!!!! it's Christmas before time! Ct8HtbmVMAEFqKd.jpg I LOVE LTO Flash. Enjoy it man! The game I would suggest playing, The Dreadnaught Factor, Worm Whomper, Tower of Doom, Thunder Castle(both games does need the manual to be read first, otherwise you would miss out crucial gameplay element like items you pick up in Thunder Castle), Duncan's Thin Ice with the secret character, Dig Dug with the secret hidden game, Hover Force, Ice Trek(hard but interesting game to see and play), Shark Shark(My favorite), and tons and tons of games. http://www.intellivisionlives.com/have manual and interesting history behind Mattel Electronics and INTV product.
+nanochess
Just as a note for Mac users, I passed one hour trying to make LTO-Flash to be detected. My Mac come originally with Mac OS X 10.8 but I've updated till 10.9.5. It needed to install the FTDI drivers for Mac OS X 10.8 instead of 10.9 to work. Now going to test the cartridge in my Intellivision
mthompson
I had to install the FTDI driver also on my MacBook to get full use of my LTO Flash. Joe and Steve jumped right on my questions and tirelessly troubleshot the issue. Having the correct driver did the trick, and being able to run a game on the Intellivision directly from my computer is a fantastic feature. Great product with great people behind it! Thanks, guys.
herkamur
My 10.11 Mac required me to install the FTDI drivers as well. I had to reboot it several times before the software would discover my LTO Flash. The OS saw it in my list of USB devices though. It took me about 20 minutes total but it seems to work very well now. +nanochess
It works really well. I could suggest for a future revision a LED to check if the LTO-Flash is well connected and another one to announce when computer is uploading things. Or the same LED in bicolor.
