Rhomaios
Nope, Decipede meaning one tenth. 10x Centipede and 100x Millipede!!! Millipede = 1/1000 pedes Centipede = 1/100 pedes Decipede = 1/10 pedes Whatever a "pede" is. Maybe "Decipede" rode the on short bus with all the bait worms! You're thinking of the use in the metric system, but an insect is not a unit of measure. Deci- comes from the Latin decem "ten", centi- from centum "hundred", and milli- from mille "thousand". The -pede suffix comes from the Latin root ped- (from pes, pedis, "foot", therefore a derivative of which is "pedal"), and like the Latin indicates feet. Therefore a centipede is a "hundred-footed creature", a millipede is a "thousand-footed creature", and a gigapede would literally be something like "giant-foot" (from the Greek gigas, gigantos, "giant"), but following numerical conventions would instead by a "billion-footed creature."

I'm well aware what a Millipede and Centipede are. Millipedes also tend to be herbovores while Centipedes are generally carnivorous and potentially venemous. Millipedes have two pairs of legs per segment, Centepedes have one pair per segment. Both have scaley exoskeletons. Not to be confusedwith the soft-bodied caterpillars, which are butterfly/moth larvae and have pinchers, not legs. Also going by the Centepede/Millipede convention, Decipede would have been the prequel to the arcade hit.
ScumSoft
Atari = The We'resari. Sega = Xbox 1 (original, not "one" but 1 as in first damn you micro$.. for confusing everyone) was in many ways the "DreamCast2". http://kotaku.com/5859934/the-xbox-was-as-close-as-we-got-to-a-dreamcast-

Lost Dragon
Whilst i like the name mentioned earlier (Atari Lazarus)... I'd have to go with the Atari NHS (for the UK market).... as basically, no matter how great a system it sounded on paper, it'd be under funded, over worked (it'd have to compete with the 'private sector'-in this case, newer, more powerful consoles that came after it), it'd cancel operations at will, have a nightmare reputation for waiting times and miss all sales targets....etc etc.... Plus it'd loose the majority of it's best coders sooner or later to the private sector.

Andromeda Stardust
The Atari Hindenburg ? (as going on previous form, it'd be another bloody disaster).Very nice. Equally disasterous, but not as cliche as Titanic. Atari Ressurection . Phoenix. AtlantisPhoenix is good. How about Sphinx? It's a cat like the Jag but it rhymes with Lynx.
