5200 HSC Season 8 Round 1 Moon Patrol

Recommended Posts

Our game to kickoff season 8 is the classic Moon Patrol. Play on default settings and claim the title of "Moon Master".

Emulation is fine as are custom controllers. You may use any port 5200 or A8 as long as 2nd fire button is required for Jump. Pics preferred, but not required except for wins and HSC records.

Round ends Sunday, March 1st 2015 @9pm EST.

Current HSC record- Bust it for a bonus point!

Well I was thinking how I played Joust on the early 68030 Macs (full color and speed arcade quality) with a keyboard and honestly never cared. Loved it. :D

In this case with Moon Patrol the jump key is above the fire key, so there is still that urge to panic and hit the up button, just like hitting up on the joystick with the Atari 800 version.

Just for that, I'll have to fire up the CGA version on my Tandy 1000EX for a quick play this weekend
