Hello!

I am new to the forum, and was just wondering if I can compete in this (I haven't participated in any of the previous rounds)? I have Galaga '88 and would love to beat the devil!

P.S. I DID locate the rules...and I read them...and I would not recommend going on bing and typing "what is point scumming"...

...and yes, that is a quiet admission to my naivete...

Yes, everyone can compete via real hardware or emulator. Just follow the stated rules.

Hit-Miss: 59.1 (don't count this - not the same game as high score above)

Does the Hit-Miss Ratio have to be from the same game as your high score, or can it be from a different game?

Same Game

I need clarification of the rules...

I just submitted a score & hit-miss ratio of 104,860 & 65.8%

Those were both highs for me and you stated before the hit-miss had to be from the same game.

On my next play, I scored a higher score, but lower hit-miss ratio (haven't submitted it yet). Will my higher score still count? Will my hit-miss ratio from the previous game still count?

Same Game

To clarify...

The Hit Miss ratio bonus is the HMR that is displayed with your score submission...doing a separate HMR submission will not be accepted...reason being is one could play the game just for a high HMR and not a score. example...I could play just one level of the game and get a high HMR but my point score would be really low.

Hope this clears things up.

OK, thanks...just wanted to be sure. So in my case, I can count my new high score ONLY...

Nice to see some interest in this round. I'm finally joining the fun as well, trying to beat my score from season 2. Will cvga pop in to win it again?

342,790

66.8%
