Awesome! Looks like I'll finally be getting a PS4.

My HDTV doesn't support HDMI, but I do have an unused HDMI port on this Two Input HDMI to Component adaptor that I used to hook up my Mac mini DVR. One potential issue is the TV doesn't support 1080p, but the adaptor reports 1080p as a supported format (because some HDTVs do support 1080p via component) so I'd need to be able to set the PS4 to output 1080i. Can it do that, or is it time for my 2001 Mitsubishi HDTV to retire?

Thanks! I found this on getting into Safe Mode so I can override the output if it defaults to 1080p. It doesn't say, but I gather Safe Mode is 480p.
