Increase Apple II knowledge

Recommended Posts

As I have been peeking into this site for a little I thought

it would be a good place to start and hopefully increase

skills/understanding.

In particular programming. I am looking for more information

on graphics and sound. I know this is a large area but

it seems to be a little thin for my liking. I have gone

the obvious route into the reference manuals and applesoft

programming but I have found that it is just not enough.

Does anyone have copies of the following books?

Animation Magic with your Apple //e and //c by Ron Person

Animation, games and sound for the Apple II/IIE by Tony Fabbri

Enhancing your Apple II Vol 1 by Don Lancaster ( I can only find Vol II)

Biting Deeper into the Apple's core an introduction to advanced apple II

programming by Richard Rabkin

Apple Roots: Assembly Language Programming for the Apple //e and //c

by Mark Andrews.

It's a shame that there is not an amount of Apple books available

on archive sites that you can read easily, I would've thought

that Don Lancaster's Enhancing your Apple II Vol 1 would

be on his site but it is not. I have found Assembly Lines: The complete book

on http://mirrors.apple2.org.za/ftp.apple.asimov.net/documentation/programming/6502assembly/

As for the Assembly Roots and the link that is posted. It is only available

to select countries. Alas I miss out.

This site has some Apple books. Just goto the right side of the site and click on bookshelf.

www.yesterbits.com

Not to mention I am also chasing these titles:-

Graphics and Animation on the Apple II, II+, IIe and IIc by Christopher Lampton

The 3-D animated apple by Phil Cohen

HiRes/Double Hi-Res Graphics for the Apple IIc and Apply II family by William H. DeWitt

Hi-Res graphics & animation using assembly by Leonard Malkin

Apple Machine Language by Don Inman/Kurtz Inman

Apple II assembly language by Marvin L. De Jong.

Apple Machine Language by Robert D Rosen

Machine Level Programming on the Apple II IIe by Graham Keeler

Modular Programming Routines for the Apple II+/IIe/IIc by Bruno B. Wolff Jnr

Applesoft subroutine cookbook for the Apple II,II+,IIe & IIc by David D. Busch

Apple II Assembly Language Exercises by Leo J. Scanlon

Apple II Programmer's Handbook by RIchard Vile Jnr

But I will keep looking until I find I more books than are currently at hand.

I have checked out

apple2online already.

The books I am looking

for which I have listed are

not on that site. If you know

of any other site (or if you have

any of those titles) let me know.

Doing a search at https://www.archive.org/ didn't return any results for the Title.   Do you have a Link to it??
