Atariboy2600
For many years I think the Atari 7800 did not gotten all the love it should had and I had many dream games that I so damn wish they would be made and so I did some what if mockup screen shot on it using the new way of making "sprite" images that had been made from other games like the new Space Invaders, Froggie, and Franzy. Games like: Bagman. Bubble Bobble. Crazy Climber. Lady Bug. Mr. Do. Phoenix. Space Panic. Triple Punch --- My Fave One. Venture.
Atariboy2600
And yes Atari games also need to be on the list as well.
Atariboy2600
And yes why not with all three Star Wars Arcade games like: Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back: Return Of The Jedi: I know is hard to think of doing any of them but I can still dream can it? Beside they did came out on Atari Home Computer, Atari ST, Amiga, C64 and so on. Even the damn ZX Spectrum had all three games!
Atariboy2600
More left over dream games screenshots.
+save2600
Super Pac-Man already exists (check the AA store) and Defender is in the works, but I'd love to see Bagman and Zookeeper someday. Zaxxon too.
mmervine
Imagine how long this list would be if not for Bob, Ken, and the other 7800 programmers. It is great to see that 7800 basic is starting to result in several great games being developed!
+Defender_2600
I am sorry Atariboy2600, the 320 mode has some limitations. I suggest this topic just to have some idea: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/221754-differences-between-atari-2600-and-atari-7800-sprite-colors/

BydoEmpire
Original RPGs - action-oriented like Gateway to Apshai, or a turn-based dungeon crawler... either way it's all good.
MobiusAqua
That's a great list, and all of those (even though a couple have already been made, and probably one or two on that list are in the works) would be epic releases for the 7800. I'd also suggest a couple mid-1980s games, like The Goonies, or Gyruss, for example. Even though something like Venture or Gauntlet would be cool, as well.
TrekMD
Love that list. An awesome selection of games that would be fun to play on the 7800.
The Usotsuki
Gotta have more Konami on the 78. xD And Tengen, too.
Mord
Original RPGs - action-oriented like Gateway to Apshai, or a turn-based dungeon crawler... either way it's all good. They're admittedly on my To Do list, but working up my skills with smaller games before I try something that big. Although LoRD knows I may try something unusual before I get to that stage. Although LoRD knows I may try something unusual before I get to that stage. If I had free time I'd do it, so keep your eyes open in the next couple of decades. I did download the 7800 basic manual and I've been browsing that. Who knows. I started an action/rpg for the 5200 about 7-8 years ago - I had a wizard sprite running around w/ the joystick - but then I had a kid and priorities changed. CDS Games
Even though something like Venture or Gauntlet would be cool, as well. Couldn't Dark Chambers be hacked into a very respectable Gauntlet? Always easier than a homebrew project.
Nutsy Doodleheimer
That would be insane to see these games come out on the 7800. Moon Patrol, Star Wars, Gorf, Phoenix, Pleiades, Venture, Time Pilot, Outrun, etc. I also would like to see Roadblasters and Pac-Land. DracIsBack
This is a bit of an obscure Master System title, but I'd love to see it on the 7800
