sega_SHARK
1,029,126 Skill 1. Had the day off yesterday, so I started early in the morning and finished late afternoon. It was around 11 hours total. The first video starts just under 985,000 and shows rollage around the 12:45 mark. My camera turned off, so I to record a second video for the final score. Um... Wow. Have a swimsuit girl for that. That is impressive.

Nebulon
Attempt #2: 1,100,949 My hand started to ache (and I need it for work). So I just stopped there. A photo just before wrapping the score at 1 million: http://www.blitter.com/~nebulous/Brig/cgi/Frenzy_Nebulon_2A.JPG And one after I stopped playing: http://www.blitter.com/~nebulous/Brig/cgi/Frenzy_Nebulon_2B_(wrapped_after_1_million).JPG https://youtu.be/-5fA1s_0Zc4 This was Game/skill 1. I'm thinking that if there's a ColecoVision Frenzy comp again in the future that maybe Game/skill 3 would be better? An added note here: I went back and watched Northcoastgamer's video and noticed that he decided to stop as well. Fatigue sets in after a while. I also see that he was playing on an original ColecoVision, whereas for this second attempt, I was playing on an XBOX, emulating a ColecoVision. Therefore, I would like Northcoastgamer to be placed higher up the high score table than me (I concede to his score). Emulator or not, marathoning Frenzy is an impressive feat of endurance.

You put in the time and effort and scored higher, well played. How long did your second attept take?
Nebulon
I must respectfully disagree. You put in the time and effort and scored higher, well played. How long did your second attept take? Oh wow. Thanks! Maybe we could call it a tie or something like that. I think it took upwards of 12 hours. I should have kept track of my start time more closely. I'm not sure if you also experienced temporal warpage, but I totally lost track of time throughout. One hour seemed like roughly 20 minutes. It gives me even greater respect for those who have done crazy arcade marathons in the past. I can see potential dangers in this sort of thing. Despite being able to pause this particular game (and I definitely did), I still found that I wouldn't take proper breaks; to the point where I started to get dehydrated. Who knew playing video games could involve physical risk.... My physiotherapist would find it hilarious, since we were at the same high school in the same year and both used to hit the computer lab to play games at lunch hour.
