Getting a 5.25 disk drive to work?

I bought a disk drive that worked on a few disks and then was only loading sometimes. I cleaned the disk head gently with alcohol and it worked again, however, now it does not load any disk. I tried cleaning again with no luck.

 

The disk spins and the head makes contact but it does not load and I have tried with many disks (some loaded fine before).

 

Anything else I can try? Thanks!

Which Computer System is this Drive for??

 

Apple ]['s have various issues that the C64 Don't usually have...

The drive is for a TI99.. it was reading fine but now I can not get it to read any disks even after cleaning the head. Are there other adjustments I could try?

I am affraid I know little about the TI disk system.. A TI expert must arrise to answer this question..

Also you posted this thread in the general "Classic Computer", rather than under the TI-99 Forum, so I wouldn't know which type of system this is used with..
