bah Posted November 26, 2015 Share Posted November 26, 2015 The ribbon in mine also lost button function. I found the conductive trace that fits into the connector had cracked. By carefully trimming the tip of the cable away I was able to get a bite beyond the damaged area and this fix has worked for the last 4 years.
