Simply_Dave
I apologize if this is the wrong forum for price checks. A mod can move it if need be. I'm trying to find a ballpark estimate on what one of these is worth. I can't find much info out there on them. Thanks! +sramirez2008
Nice! I have a 2600 travel case and have never seen one for the 5200. Not sure what the 5200 goes for, but one of the 2600 travel cases recently sold for $40.00 on eBay, but the shipping costs were $42.00. I've seen the cases sell for much more over the years, (i.e. $80-100 w/out shipping).

It's not so much the weight but it would have to go into a pretty big box to ship it. Thanks for the info. Dave
boxpressed
I sold one a couple of years ago for around $250.

AtariBrian
I have seen them go for around 60 plus shipping . I got one in person for cheaper than that .

boxpressed
I'd say that the original box for the 5200 carrying case is something of a holy grail. I mean, who keeps the box for what is essentially a box? http://atariage.com/forums/topic/112618-how-much-would-you-pay-for-a-reproduction-5200-carrying-case-box/

bikeguychicago
I believe that qualifies as checked luggage and not a carry-on. Seriously though, nice find! I did't know such a thing existed.
