The fancy screen with M.A.D. is a gif I made about 6 months ago from a IntyBASIC test I was doing, seemed appropriate since nukes were involved and I couldn't select and continue past the Nuke option... mr_me Posted January 10, 2016 Share Posted January 10, 2016 I think the priorities for an updated Utopia game would be a one player mode where you can build on both islands, and a tweaked scoring mode addressing current scoring issues. This is easy. I only spent a couple minutes on this but this is a start. Utopia.rom This one randomly crashes during gameplay; so I couldn't play it for very long; but here's a couple of comments. I can't agree with completely random weather, it makes it very hard to generate revenue from crops. Different weather patterns for each game might be okay as long as there is a weather pattern. The game rules/scoring still has to be tweaked for 1-player mode. Rebels attacking player-2 has to stop when there is no player-2, but there is still a need for foreign rebels or some other threat to justify forts. Random/unpredictable weather 1 or 2 player Even though I couldn't always find a second player I still would play alone. So this would be a good option.
