No picture because the game resets to the title screen after a couple seconds, and doesn't show the score again. I could only find a 12-17 WIP on the homebrew threads... Is there a release ROM available? It's still a work in progress. For the bonus - 35,400 on D.K. VCS This one's prettier, but DK Arcade is more playable, at least as they are now. S.BAZ Posted February 1, 2016 Author Share Posted February 1, 2016 (edited) 66100 66,100 Donkey Kong VCS haven't played DK Arcade (2600) much but after playing both i still like the Coleco Donkey Kong best. one thing i like, it stays true to the original in that it takes endless patience and practice, etc. to get a million points! the greatest challenge is keeping your patience and focus long enough (maybe 2.5-3 hrs). it's also fun! I couldn't play much DK back in the 80s as it cost me about $0.25/min. when I played Coleco DK at my cousin's house that was awesome. so maybe it's partly my nostalgia talking but still i think original 2600 Donkey Kong holds up pretty good.
