+DrVenkman
Does anyone have a good dd type image of a micro SD card for the RPi3 that has a working RespeQt on it? I have Android OS on it now, and it's not the best... Thanks. I'm not quite sure what you're asking for. RespeQt is a Qt app. Under any flavor of Linux, including Raspian on a Pi, it requires the X Windows desktop environment. You can download any basic Raspian image from the Raspberry Pi Foundation and then download/compile RespeQt on it. It takes about 15 minutes on an RPi3, a bit longer with a Zero or ZeroW. I know one other user was trying to make a "bare metal" version that doesn't need a full desktop setup but I don't know if ever went anywhere. Kyle22
If I download a Raspian image, will it have the compiler needed? I have never compiled a Qt app before.

If you read back through this thread, you'll get step by step instructions on how to download everything you need and compile it.
