ScottC2010
Hi, I have an Atari 800XLF which works fine apart from cutting out after a few minutes then will work again if i leave it for about 10 minutes and switch it back on. My powerpack is an original CO 61763-34 - i suspect this may be the problem. Currently is has a 13AMP Plug with a 5 AMP fuse (It is a UK model and I live in the UK). Has anyone had a similar experience or can help? I have seen replacement DC supplies on ebay and the like is it worth me replacing it? Oge
It should be a fault related to one (or more) dried electrolytics. 61763-34 is a stabilized PS with a capability of ~20W which uses a linear regulator.
ScottC2010
Thanks Oge - is this fixable or should I just make a new powerpack using a dc plug and the DIN?
ScottC2010
Bought a modern adapter now and very pleased with it, also I fixed my 1010 play button with just a heated up nail pushed into the plastic and works perfect now. I bought one of those cassette adapters for a car stereo with the headphone jack, I put this into my 1010 and connect the jack to my pc then convert some games with a82cas and load the wav's straight into the machine which works quite well
