Cebus Capucinis
I think the best company is probably the AtariAge store. Especially if we're talking quality of games produced!
A.J. Franzman
Maybe this would be easier to list companies to avoid. On a hits-to-misses ratio then the following would be on that list for me. Apollo DataAge Zimag Mythicon Froggo Panda Mystique/PlayAround
BydoEmpire
Ouch! I like all of the Apollo games I have. They're right up behind Atari, Activision and Imagic for me.
Lord Helmet
1. Activision 2. Parker Bros. 3. M Network 4. Atari 5. Coleco 6. Imagic 7. Sega I like this list, though I'd probably pu them in a different order. Might also add CBS simply because I'm a sucker for arcade ports and they did tow of my favorite arcade games (WoW and Gorf). Pioneer4x4
As a whole, with roms only I'll stick with Activision, but if you add in other things like RAM Plus carts it gets less clear cut. Overall, when I fire it up, I usually end up playing something starpath.

JacobZu7zu7
1. Atari 2. Activision 3. Parker Brothers 4. Imagic 5. Fox 6. Sega 7. MNetwork 8. CBS 9. Coleco 10. Spectravision Nice list Frostbite. Mine would be very similar... Parker Bros might be ahead of Fox... but I love movie games, so I put Fox high up there and nice to see it hit your top #5. I agree Coleco sometimes is a bit mediocre, besides... Front Line, Mr. Do, Zaxxon and Smurfs. Donkey Kong and Jr... I thought were good but not great. Although I have a soft spot for Venture. Here's my top 10, with the games that came in my mind as bein pretty bitchin'. 1.Atari (centipede, yars revenge, mrs pac-man, asteroids, joust etc etc etc) 2.Activision (frostbite, keystone, stampede, river raid) 3.20th Century Fox (fantastic voyage, alien, worm war i, turmoil) 4.Parker Bros (reactor, popeye, frogger, spiderman, tutankham) 5.Mattel (kool aid man, astroblast, tron, air raiders, dark cavern) 6.Imagic (no escape, atlantis, star voyager, dragonfire) 7.Coleco (front line, mr do, zaxxon, smurfs, venture) 8.CBS (wizard of wor, blueprint, solar fox, gorf, uhh??) 9.Sega (sega, i can't think of much of any, i dont own a lot) 10.Data Age (ugh) lol... I think I might rank Fox ahead of Imagic now that i've played more games in recent weeks. Joust is my favorite Atari game followed closely by Ms. Pacman. Missile Command and Milliped are great with the track ball. The one game on your list I don't like is Kagaroo. It's way to hard and the flickering is unbearable
