tschak909
Hello, Everyone! I spent roughly two weeks completely reconstructing every single Atarisoft box front, as I needed them for my own purposes (I have a smart home system that contains media functionality), and thought they might be of use to everyone else! I had to go through and carefully match the fonts against my font books (from when I did professional fontography and typography layout), and carefully match colors to Pantone against the real boxes that I could find of each type. I think I've done reasonably well, at least they are all consistent. There were many Atarisoft titles which did not have official releases, so I had to make new box art for them, and using the same pattern as the existing ones, I took the illustrations from Atari's existing catalogue, in all cases. I hope you guys like these, They are here: http://imgur.com/a/vlhGF And I'll post a few samples in this thread: Enjoy, Let me know what you think! -Thom

tschak909
Thank you. I do notice two mistakes that I should correct when I get a chance: * Atarisoft at the bottom, the left lower facet of the A is truncated on accident (probably due to GIMP's window clipping the text slightly), and I should kern the text a bit more. * The page curl needs a bit more work (shadow needs to extend slightly, the underlying color is visible on the flat edge, ever so slightly. I'll try to make those changes, when I can (I did these over 9 months ago) -Thom
elwee
Digging up this really old thread: Does anyone know the font used for the game titles? Looks not the same as the 'ATARISOFT' or the system types. And what font is the 'FROM'?
