HDX QUESTION

Finally got off my duff and made a proper cable to try HDX between my TI and PC. Works fine using CfHdx v1.2 on the TI end. I can move ti files back and forth. I cannot use DM2k or Dsk2Pc v1.2 on the TI - states HDX1. not found.

 

Is this because I do not have the daughter board in place on the RS232 card?

Yep. Once you get your RS-232 modified you'll be able to treat your PC like a disk drive... save, load, run, and use the programs you mentioned. One word of warning, once you start using it, you'll never want to stop using it, in fact you'll wonder how you ever got along without it.

I primarily want to use it to make backups of my floppies and save space on my scsi and mfm drives. That daughter board runs at a higher speed as well right?

They both run at 38400
