TheAtarianGuy
Hey guys. I booted my Atari 1040STfm up for the first time in a few months. It booted up fine and loaded disks fine, but I can't get it to display in color. I'm using the RF port and a color TV. Anybody got any ideas why I can't get it to show color? The RF out on the ST is worst then the 4 port 5200 with a working OEM switchbox. Have you tried using a VCR? If not juts hook your RF out from the ST to the RF in on the VCR to see that helps out. I tried using a couple different cords too. Could there be a problem with the ST itself?
Robson
Could be a PAL- NTSC problem. Depending on your location and where the ST is from. Try if your Tv has settings for it or buy an st scart cable. Edited July 4, 2016 by Robson
