cbmeeks
I just got my Flash99 rom kit. After some soldering, it's working like a champ. Anyway, I was wondering if there are any VGM (video game music) players out there? I'm weird in that I like listening to music on these chips. Something that worked with 16K machines would be great. Thanks

Tursi
My software is a programmer's toolset, it's not a standalone player library, which I suspect the OP was looking for. I'm not aware of any for the standard console at this time.
+Schmitzi
. Maybe the "Music Processor v1.4 from Asgard / David Caron (Ottawa Group, 1988) can do a job ? It runs in XB. MUSIC-PROCESSOR-Asgard-v1.4.dsk

cbmeeks
Thanks for the suggestions. Looks like I need to get 32K for my TI. :-)
+Ksarul
Look on the eBay thread, there's a good, cheap PEB listed there--and East Coast shipping doesn't look too bad. . .especially since it has a disk controller and 32K in it. Asmusr
You can't take a VGM file from the net and play it on the TI with any of those programs. Many of the VGMs are too big to fit in the TI's RAM, so Tursi's tool is compressing them in a format efficient for decompressing on the TI. So it would be possible to make a VGM player based on Tursi's compressed format, but we don't have that yet...
