FifthPlayer
This is a great list. I see Carol Shaw often mentioned amongst the great female game programmers (especially due to River Raid), and to a lesser extent Carla Meninsky. But I didn't know about the other names on this list. Thanks. Edited September 7, 2016 by FifthPlayer
+sramirez2008
Thanks for the list. Don't know how many times I've played Boing! and never really looked at the two signatures on the cart. Then again, my label is not one of the clearest.
Omega-TI
Are there any photos of the faces to go with the names?

Rom Hunter
Thanks! Marylin was mentioned in my ROM collection, but for some reason not in our database.

+Psionic
You know of any more I might have missed? Off the top of my head... Wabbit by Apollo was designed and programmed by a Vietnamese woman named Ban Tran. She may have worked on other titles at Apollo as well. She later joined MGI and worked on a version of Solar Fox for the Atari 400/800 & 5200 that was not released. There was a female programmer at CBS Electronics named Judy Eckert, but at the moment I don't remember what games she may have worked on. Might've been Domino Man or one of the other unreleased titles. Heineman wasn't female nor claimed to be when those games were developed. Jean Baer was an artist at AH who worked on the graphics for the instruction manuals and possibly the games themselves. As far as I know, she was not a game designer or programmer of any sort. Shirley Ann Leavens (née Russell) was Alex's other half and may have helped him with game design, but I doubt she did any actual programming. Dutchman2000 may know, as I believe he spoke with her at one point. With some time I may think of more.

Pioneer4x4
According to AA, Carol Shaw programmed the Polo prototype. Correct, as far as is documented on the first Stella Gets a New Brain CD. I believe they spoke with her and she gave it to them to be included. That is probably my prize item in my collection (not money wise, but importance to me), it is what really got me into collecting back when it first came out. Mangia-Boy
Carol Shaw is the "mother" of Zenji and Happy Trails, too. These are two of my absolute favourites. She did a phantastic job.
+Psionic
Dawn Stockbridge - Strawberry Shortcake Musical Match-Ups and Tutankham She may have helped out with graphics or something on Tutankham, but Dave Engman was the main programmer and it's his name that appears in the code. Carol Shaw is the "mother" of Zenji and Happy Trails, too. Zenji was designed by Matthew Hubbard. I've never heard of her being involved in any way, and I'm pretty sure she had actually left Activision by then.
