Chicago TI International World Faire

Okay guys, have a blast for me! I wish I could be there with you.

Please, feel free to take lots of video on your cellphones and or cameras. I'd be happy accept any footage taken to compile and piece together into a video for the group here to watch, especially us poor slobs who cannot make it.

I thought you were going to make it this year...

Nope, I'm in Seattle this weekend working the Dubhacks hackathon as a mentor (we'll see if that's a good idea ;) ).

I watched your slot car video though, awesome!

I will definitely attend next year... my goal is to have at least ONE of my projects done ;)

I got a 99/4 to troubleshoot the video problems in my other 99/4 (and also to try a F18A in!) :)

Good thing I only got that because I only have so much space in my luggage....

At the Pinball Expo show now in Wheeling. Depends on when/if a machine sells, would like to stop by the TI Faire and meet some of you! :)

-edit-

Rats, ended up getting "stuck" there and missed the Faire. :(

Grabbed me a nicely-expanded Geneve :)

Can't see it quite clearly enough, but it looks like that might have been John Koloen's Geneve. Just be aware that when you do put it into a system, if the OS has been modified and stored within the PFM onboard flash, you may have to make some configuration changes. Nice score :)

Yeah, no idea who had it before. Jim says the 384k PFM will be the flash boot, and it has the 192k upgraded 9938 RAM. It is missing the zero wait-state mod. Jon recommended I send it up to you (if you have time) or Richard Bell to have a look-see before I try using it, just in case, and I would rather be safe than sorry.

ah, sounds a bit similar to my one:

"Geneve 9640 with PFMmod -384K 0-wait state memory, 192K video memory, and a PFM Flash Disk with 128K"

I have BIOS 3.00 / 1994 by Jones G. Schroeder and MDOS 5.00

(but cannot use it because have no video-cable)

(but the CR-2032 is new)
