erichenneke
Long shot... Does anyone happen to have a spare "G" key from an 800XL keyboard? I have had an old dead 800XL knocking around and now I put a PAL motherboard in it so I have both NTSC and PAL hardware. Works great, but it is missing the "G" key on the keyboard. Anyone have one of those they could spare, or an old parts-only keyboard perhaps? Thanks! -Eric Edited October 28, 2016 by erichenneke
adam242
There are several different keyboards used in the XLs. Which one do you have? Do a search for the thread, 'XL keyboard variants' I think its called. It should help you identify yours.

This is the type of keyboard it has, and you can see where the missing key belongs.
shoestring
Need more info and better shots of the keyboard to identify the type. As mentioned there are at least 5 different variants. I think you'll have an easier time replacing the entire keyboard than finding the right keycap.
