Jaguar Fan Art

Recommended Posts

I stumbled across some great Jaguar fan art here recently:

http://williamthorup.com/inktober-2016/

Has anyone else made or seen some Jaguar Fan art they would be willing to share?

I think anyone who is passionate about this console gets a kick out of some good Jaguar related art.

In Kasumi Ninja's story and credits screen there is the 'Kasumi Island' photo.

I always wondered if this was an existing mountain or that it was designed by a computer.

We have Google Reverse Image Search these days and uploaded the screenshot.

To my surprise, immediately got the original picture that the creators used! :)

They only made the image a little darker and replaced the sky. (I also recreated the screen myself just for fun)

I uploaded the Jaguar 'spinning cube' sprite:

Looks like an old book uses the exact same image :)

Now that's funny. To think, that Atari nicked their mascot from a book cover... :D

Probably just the same stock photo for both. I think I read somewhere that the "roar" sound effect is not actually from a jaguar, either :)

I'm a bit of a Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, nature documentary enthusiast :).

Jaguars are known for a very throaty growl, almost a bark of sorts.

BUT they can make a bit of a slow roar sound as well.

Any idea what animal is making the boot screen noise. Lion?
