Any floppy disk check programs?

Does any software exist to test a floppy disk to tell you if it's still any good? I'm thinking along the lines of something that formats the disk and fills it to check for bad sectors.

I use Copy ][ Plus from Central Point Software...

 

Versions above 8.4 have Issue, so I have been told...

 

It also has a Disk Speed Checker... If you use that feature, make sure to use a Scratch Disk, since it Obliterates the Track..

Hi,

EDD 4 has a useful "Certify & erase disk" which does exactly what you are looking for.

It is even capable to go for half or quarter tracks.
