Can you identify the point of this modification?

Although, I presume it could be standard, but I do not recall seeing it before in other Mega STs I have owned.


The System boots fine, but I have not delved deep into it yet. I just replaced the floppy and it boots fine, hard drives work without issue (so far . . )

This is the so called blitter patch. It's usually on a small board soldered to the cpu, this one was done with the chop (flip-flop) on top of another one then wired to the cpu.
