Lots of old win95/98 era PC games were 32-bit exe and could technically run on newer 64-bit pc, but had 16-bit installers making them a pain to install (you have to boot into xp using a virtual machine, install the game, then copy the installation folder and associated settings files over to win7, and pray it doesn't use drm to verify if it has been installed properly).
