funkheld
Hi good afternoon. What exactly is the AV connector for Atari Flashback Portable? How is it switched (switched-on)? For me, the AV image does not work, there is none. Thank you. Greeting

Mountain King
If you have cord like this you can connect the flashback to a modern TV. I happened to have one from an old camera.
WildBillTX
I used a cable similar to the one Mountain king has that was for an old Canon Powershot camera and it worked fine.
+-^CrossBow^-
I just use a set of 1/8 inch headphone Male to separate L and R audio cables. On the cable I have it has Red and Black plugs. The red actually ended up being the video and the black the mono audio out.
CurtisP
I found this in my box of extra cables last night. Can't try it out until Christmas day, though. Edited December 23, 2017 by CurtisP
Arenafoot
I ordered this one right before Christmas from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0016LFN2C/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I just got it yesterday and tried it out tonight. LOL Couldn't get it to work, then I realized I plugged both the white and red plugs into the white and red AUDIO ports on my TV....DUH! No wonder I didn't see it on the screen! Moved one to the yellow Video port and it works perfectly!!! Highly recommended!!! And only $4.09 with free shipping too!
Osgeld
yes the pinout for 3/4 pole av connectors are all over the map, though most of the time ground is on the lowermost segment so its just a matter of fiddle farting with the plugs to see what comes out where
