This one has tacos and dragons, and there is a sequel. If I could have tacos and a dragon, I could care or less about about video games. The ZX Spectrum Next has finally started shipping to backers. That was also two years "late" with an estimated delivery of Jan 2018. BUT, the crucial difference was that the Next team had to build a new computer from scratch. Atari are just rehashing the PC. Hmmm ... wonder where they're being made? Can't be China, surely. ? 3 1

I sent a request to join, I had to, not sure I will be accepted, was expecting some admin question like "Why do you love the AtariVCS?" as that can be set up as an option for potential members. IF I get accepted should be hilarious monitoring all the AtariVCS cheer leading. ? The Group description is interesting ? Somehow I am doubting the OPEN DISCUSSION part..... Discussion group for AtariVCS - Early Adopters - Indiegogo Supporters - pre-orders, general product enthusiasts and anyone sick and tired of companies and their endorsers blocking conversation to provide a false narrative. This group is for genuinely open conversation about the product, information available, backer satisfaction, questions and concerns. This group does not operate on an agenda to deceive anyone, provide false information, or promote a particular viewpoint. This group is for backers and supporters of a new Atari hardware product, currently suggested as the Atari VCS. This group is open to anyone who has been banned from the Atari VCS page, or the dictatorial Atari VCS supporters page, both of which are run simply to provide propaganda for a project that has been backer funded and refuses to communicate real progress. ?? +frankodragon
The MZ-700 has a game called 'Painful Man." That should be an appropriate game for the Atacobox for those shelling out +$300. 4
TheVgaTv
The constant delays and general lack of progress got me thinking what I've accomplished in the last year and a half since their crowd funding ended. I released the first book in my zombie novel series 3 days after their campaign ended. I just released book 20 today. Started a Facebook Fan page and grew it to nearly 2,100 as of today I completely redesigned and released all 6 volumes of the Atari 2600 Encyclopedia (1,700+ total pages) Completed 52 more episodes of the Atari 2600 Encyclopedia video series Moved twice Drove 65,000 miles for my day job, photographing 150 sites across 22 states, and spending about 180 days on the road Meanwhile the Atari crew got $3 million dollars and just recently got a device that would turn on..... 7

I'm quite sure the virus is very serious, and has probably killed a lot more people than the Chinese government has let on. I think there's a chance a lot of legitimate products will be affected by it. To be fair, it's not only Atari SA that's been affected by this but other companies like Apple as well... https://www.businessinsider.com/apple-airpod-shortage-wuhan-coronavirus-2020-2?op=1 But with the VCS having been delayed with BS excuses by FauxTari many times before...no wonder why people think it's yet another one as well.
