bikeguychicago #1 Posted August 28, 2017 I saw a post on the Console Purist Facebook group this evening about Ken Siders (of B*nq fame) recently passing. I didn't see any other posting in the group about this so I wanted to share the information in case anyone wanted to send their respects. The obituary was posted on the Marion Star web site. The condolence page can be found here. RIP Ken and thank you for all you've done for the community.

Jinks #3 Posted August 28, 2017 No....this really sucks. R.I.P. He was an amazing programmer and a decent guy that never got caught up in any drama and did what he needed to do.
Dauber #4 Posted August 28, 2017 I'm devastated, partly as a fan of his work but moreso for his family who lost a loved one at such a young age.RIP, Ken. Wherever you are, Ken, thank you for your work and your kindness.

Albert #12 Posted August 28, 2017 Ken was a great programmer and produced several enjoyable games across multiple Atari platforms. People will continue to enjoy his works for many years to come. He passed at such a young age, it's really sobering when this happens unexpectedly. This is truly sad news.

Mayhem #22 Posted August 28, 2017 Wow, unexpected, and tragic. B*nq and Beef Drop were two of the pioneering homebrews for the 7800, that got other people into writing games for the machine.
