Harry Potter
I'm looking for information on the Atari's memory layout, i.e. used and free memory and I/O and kernal adresses. I prefer .pdf and .txt formats.

Harry Potter
Is there a downloadable version? I want to take it to my day program with me, but it has neither internet access nor a working browser.

+slx
Mapping the Atari is probably THE definite guide and written in an easy style. Be aware that there are two editions with the latter covering the more common XL/XE computers. There's a Master Memory Map as well which seems to follow a bit funnier style and has lots of cartoonish illustrations. For a system description you probably can't beat the Altirra Hardware Reference Manual written by the author of the Altirra emulator. It is very detailed down to split-cycle timings of various hardware but sometimes more concise and with fewer explanations for machine language beginners than the former two.
