Humblejack
I thought I would update the pics of the games collection. Do you know how much shelf space you need to line up 460 Intellivision games? My collection uses up 4 shelves of different lengths. Shelf 1 is 10' 4" (124"), shelf 2 is 10' (120"), shelf 3 is 10' 4" (124") and shelf 4 is 4' 8" (56"). Shelf 4 is actually 120" but I am only using 56". That's 35' 4" (424"). There are 460 games on the shelves and only one is a duplicate (a little different colored box), can you guess which game that is? Sorry of being so long but just a warning, there are 38 pics in order to show all the games. Hope to see a lot of you guys in Portland next month.
+cmart604
Awesome! Before looking at the pics I was going to guess Lock'n'chase based on the different coloured box comment but now I'm going to have to look closer. ?

+intellivotion
It's Chip Shot Super Pro Golf. I see two copies but I've never heard of variations
+JasonlikesINTV
Of course you have a sealed Intellivision Inc Backgammon I'm with Steve on Space Armada. 3rd and 4th to the right of Sears Soccer. Edit: Wait, maybe I change my guess to Sears Soccer Edited September 17, 2017 by JasonlikesINTV
+intellivotion
(...) Edit: Wait, maybe I change my guess to Sears Soccer one is sealed, one is not. I wouldn't consider one of them as a duplicate, probably

Popeye or Q*Bert?
Humblejack
Intellivotion is correct on Chip Shot. The Shock Vision is Popeye. The Sears Soccer I consider different because of the one has the sticker on the back blanking out the remainder of after Made in Hong Kong. That is kind of a cheat as you would not know that from the pics so it is a very good guess. The Space Armada are both the Action Network and I forgot to remove the non-shrinkwrapped one so you guys are correct too. I guess I didn't think this out very well and you guys are on the ball. It is not easy as you can only see the spine but most of the differences are everywhere on the box but the spine. But it was fun anyway, Thanks

+Steve Jones
what are the 2 white games between defender and demon attack? what are the multiple mattel games that look the same from the spine? for example the 6 Armor battles ? i think I have a few that you don't have here, for example 4 variations of swords & serpents, and some coleco/cbs language variations. +intellivotion
(...) what are the multiple mattel games that look the same from the spine? for example the 6 Armor battles ? (...) there are at least 7 variations of the Armor Battle box by Mattel. It looks like Humblejack doesn't even have them all EDIT: Humblejack, I bet the six Armor Battle variants are: 1) made in USA, plastic tray, "FCTvVO", with reference of KC; 2) made in USA, plastic tray, no "FCTvVO", with reference of KC; 3) made in HK, plastic tray, with reference of KC; 4) made in USA, no plastic tray, without reference of KC; 5) made in HK, plastic tray, without reference of KC; 6) International edition Edited September 23, 2017 by intellivotion

+Lathe26
Alphabetically, "demo" would make sense. However, "demonstration" would require swapping with Demon Attack. For those of you with OCD, you're welcome. ?
Humblejack
Grrrrr... I hate it when people find my faults. You are correct in the Demostration Carts. Blue and Green Box. I am trying to think of a way to make the way I have them arranged be correct and the only thing I can come up with is that I have them written as Demo in my list. Now I will have to change that. Actually I have 9 variations of Armor Battle 1. Intellivision Inc 2. Sears 3. For Color TV Viewing Only in Small Black Letters (4 lines front bottom right) Small black letters on top flap 4. Same as 3 but no FCTVVO (4 lines front bottom right) Small black letters on top flap 5. 3 lines front bottom right - USA 6. 3 lines front bottom right - Hong Kong 7. International - Hong Kong Instruction on outside of box on the back in English 8. French/Canadian 9. Australian intellivotion: I bet the six Armor Battle variants are: 1) made in USA, plastic tray, "FCTvVO", with reference of KC 2) made in USA, plastic tray, no "FCTvVO", with reference of KC 3) made in HK, plastic tray, with reference of KC 4) made in USA, no plastic tray, without reference of KC 5) made in HK, plastic tray, without reference of KC 6) International edition
Fushek
That's one fantastic collection!!! Interesting alphabetical order ... seeing Spiker in the V's seems strange, but see that you went with the sport itself and ignored any of the "Super Pro" or league abbreviations. Also, Frogger should go after football. Like Lathe, I have some OCD in me.

+cmart604
That's one fantastic collection. It truly is! As an aside, Ive spent many years blaming Steve and his website for my variation madness when really Hank deserves credit/blame as well. Lol! Hank has been a great contributor to our knowledge about variations and for that he deserves our thanks. ??

Had I known that this Intellivsion thing would be as big as it is I would have bought all that stuff back in the 90's that I passed up because I already had one. I passed up 3 or 4 boxed Spikers for $100-$200, and in fact had a chance to buy the 6 pack boxes of each LF I and II that mine came out of. They were brand new not even opened and I got mine for $50 each but I thought $300 for a 6 pack box was too much. This 20-20 hindsight stuff is killing me. One of the sleepers that most people don't really know about is the Intellivision Inc Backgammon. I have owned 5 boxed Spikers and 2 sealed baggie Spikers and have watched oodles on ebay. I have only ever seen 4 II Backgammons and owned 2 of them. I currently only own 1 sealed, 1 cart, 1 manul. They rarely come up on ebay. It would be fun to know how many people own 1. oops too long, sorry, Hankster Edited September 25, 2017 by Humblejack
