johncena1973
Yesterday, i tried to beat Contra Hard Corps. But failed miserably . Due to the high difficulty of the game and my controller is just too old right now. So i'm thinking about purchase a turbo controller for my SEGA GENESIS. Could you guys give me names of companies that make the best SEGA GENESIS TURBO CONTROLLER ? (i prefer 3RD party company over the one made by SEGA ,thanks)

keepdreamin
Kind of curious why you'd prefer 3rd party, but Sega did make a 6 button variant towards then end of the systems life, which I have: http://segaretro.org/6_Button_Arcade_Pad_(MK-1470) I also had the asciipad sg-6 growing up. (seemed to have miss placed it). Other than than the oddity of C + Z being shoulder buttons, it was a REALLY solidly built controller. http://segaretro.org/AsciiPad_MD-6

So, the reason why i prefer 3RD Party because my friends told me that 1ST PARTY TURBO CONTROLLERS were handled by an unknown company, not by SEGA. teh_lurv
Hand down the best Is the SGProPad 6 +1 to this. I own two that I'll never give up. Honorable mention to the Mad Catz 6-button turbo controller. Decent controller but bulkier than the standard 6 button. Good choice if you have big man hands. Flojomojo
Yikes, really? You like this? I had the Saturn equivalent and didn't care for it ... but then I have no use for turbo buttons
