ramidavis
Can someone post a link to download Wycove Forth? In particular, am looking for a release that supported tape. (In case no one has noticed by now, i am one of the few people who actually enjoy using tapes in this "modern age" ... Go figure.) atrax27407
Which version do you need? Vn 2.1 or Vn 3.0? Send me a PM
atrax27407
Here is Vn 2.1. The docs are on WHT - Vn 2.0 and 2.1 are almost identical. WYCOVE.dsk

jrhodes
Can anyone please provide wav files of the Wycove Forth cassette mentioned in the manual? Would like to try this on my real ti, loading from cassette. I looked at the disk above, and it contains a EA5 FORTH, and FORTI program, which i can convert to wav and run from funnelweb loader in xb. But it also contains a SCREENS file, DIS/FIX. Not exactly sure how i could convert it into a wav file myself. Anyway, if there is a good recording of the Wycove Forth cassette, i would love to play with it. sparkdrummer
WYCOVE_2_1.DSK The above dsk contains Wycove 2.1 On the disk is a file named CASLOAD, Which would go at the beginning of the tape, followed by FORTH and FORTI. As stated in the manual on page 7, paragraph 2, the cassette version does not utilize the SCREENS file, however in section A-5 it states how applications can be copied from disk to cassette. Using TAPE MASTER, I made a cassette copy of the following, CASLOAD,FORTH,FORTI. I entered XB and typed RUN"CS1", i ignored the rewind tape prompts when they came. It loaded just fine. I can attempt making wav files if needed, but I've never done it. I hope this helps.
jrhodes
That helps, yes. I was thinking there was more on the tapes then that. By the way, i am looking for v3.0 of wycove as well. Can only seem to find 2.1 Edited January 27, 2019 by jrhodes
