sound output 2e

so how do I adjust the sound on this thing lol

my 2c has a volume wheel

 

but cant find one on this 2e

 

does the 2e not have a way to adjust the sound am I just blind and cant see it

even read the manual for the machine and didn't se any mention of volume control

 

I'm using the tape out right now to pump sound to my commodore 1702 monitor but even then with sound all the way up its hard to hear

The //e does not have a volume control. It was a popular project, back then, to make your own with some resistors and a potentiometer.

and so even with a pot i would not able to increase the volume more than it already is only lower it ugggg

hmmmmmmm now to find an amp lol think i might have a small amp lying around my store that was used inside pga tour golf games time to dig into my parts bins lol

Yup. It was popular to build a 2-transistor amp from parts from RadioShack. Or get a small amplified speaker. Or go into line-in on a cassette/radio/receiver deck. The best of times!
