It should then show up at the bottom of the screen. The max is something like 12 or 13 I think. Nothing is happening when you collect them? Are you running an emulator or real hardware? If it isn't working right yet let us know so we can try to help you figure it out. The bad rom idea is worth troubleshooting just because it is really easy to try that.
