sparkdrummer
DEMOS.DSK Mostly XB and CB I really like the LINES demo, It's much nicer than the one put out by TI. The APESOFT demo on this disk is good too - Be patient with the loading times - it's worth it. The disk is menu driven - autoloads with XB - requires 32k. APESOFT1.DSK Requires E/A and 32k. Runs out of Console Basic. Enter Console basic and old DSK1.BASICLOAD run it. Then old and run either DEMO_SHORT or DEMO_LONG APESOFT2.DSK Extended Basic autoload
ti99iuc
I have this error starting shapes... you too ? and also in apesoft1 maybe them not working on some emulators ? i tried them on js99er.net and classic99 Edited February 7, 2018 by ti99iuc
+mizapf
Ciro, just add CALL CLEAR to line 30 in SHAPES. This is an error in the program. For APESOFT1, you have to load it in TI BASIC (not Extended Basic!) with plugged-in Editor/Assembler. Load BASICLOAD and run it.
sparkdrummer
Yeah, My mistake. I cooked SHAPES through XBASHER and PRESCAN - then added CALL CLEAR to one of the lines and forgot to put a CALL CLEAR to make the prescan happy.
+mizapf
BTW, @APESOFT was one of my favorites back in those days. I said I mainly learned assembly language from the reference manual, but many credits should also go to the authors of the excellent books. If I remember correctly, APE was Anton and Anna Peschetz (or so) from Austria.
RXB
My original first released WINDYXB had a very cool demo that impress people I called then PUSH and PULL. It looked very much like my RXB 2001 version I called them BSAVE and BLOAD: Later I added SAMS support.
+Ksarul
I think her name was Alma Peschetz, but yes, they were very good books for learning assembly. . .

Flottmann1
here the pdf of these 2 German Books delete ! Edited February 10, 2018 by Flottmann1
+mizapf
Maybe we should better "hide" them on WHTech? (Mind you, they're still copyrighted.) Interesting fact: These books were written on a TI-99/4A with TI WRITER! Now if that's not a good reason to start learning German, I don't know.
