Here's a pic: https://imgur.com/uq73MtE Is this an issue? if so how do I treat it? I've already applied oil to it to prevent further rusting. Do you think there are any alternatives? I don't think I'd be able to pull something like that off with my soldering skills, and I'm about to spend about $200 on modwork on this motherboard so I want to make sure it doesn't fail on me. Any decent mod service you are going to be spending $200 on should take care of that issue for you as long as you tell them about it, and most I don't even think would charge to fix that as I know I wouldn't. If you're going to spend around $200 on getting one modded (I assume it must be HDMI at that cost) then it would be worth getting one in decent order first. Here in the UK you can get a NES in good working order for around £30, or $40 US - they are pretty readily available. there are absolutely no issues with the system, everything is so clean that (I'm not exaggerating) ever since I've cleaned it up I've literally never had to remove a cartridge and re-insert it because of a bad connection.
