Emulation is fine, as are custom controls. Pics preferred, but not required except for HSC wins and records. The current HSC record for Dig Dugl (Beginner difficulty) was set by skosh- a whopping 5,000,010 points! Do better if you can to earn a bonus point! (Not necessarily recommended to try this... y'all have better things to do with your lives, right?) Mostly, I approached it as trying to best myself. The only rewards are personal achievement, insightful or silly commentary (ex- the Judas priest round), and occasional bogus titles like Moonmaster, or Champion Gorfer.
