Omega-TI
Tom posted the link of THIS ARTICLE (with photo) on the Yahoo site about about what one of the Legendary TI Software Authors J. Peter Hoddie is up to now. Since many of you never check out the Yahoo site, I figure I'd "rip it off" and post it here!
Omega-TI
Amazing what a few decades can do. What used to be cool, is now campy... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u-LQFXfnhrI
+OLD CS1
Aw, I though it was not so bad, ya old fuddy-duddy. I thought that speech was familiar... State of the Union 2010, right? Ah, no, it is the NSA mission statement! Oh, and AA supports APNG
Omega-TI
These are in another section of Atari Age. I think they are funny, so I thought I'd share them here for those who probably missed them...
Tursi
Aw, I liked the ZX81. It felt the closest to our TI in terms of limitations and oddity.

RobertLM78
Aw, I liked the ZX81. It felt the closest to our TI in terms of limitations and oddity. Never mind littering toxic electronic components .
+Vorticon
Remote control cockroach. http://youtu.be/V2zNOP6RqRk I remember my undergrad years as a neurobiology major when I connected the wing nerve bundle of roaches to an oscilloscope to study the electrical control properties of wing movement. How about a TI controlled roach? It would make for a killer Faire demo
+OLD CS1
Remote control cockroach. http://youtu.be/V2zNOP6RqRk I remember my undergrad years as a neurobiology major when I connected the wing nerve bundle of roaches to an oscilloscope to study the electrical control properties of wing movement. How about a TI controlled roach? It would make for a killer Faire demo Interesting, that. Back in the day M.I.T. was working on a robotic approach to terrain handling and were stumped -- it seemed that no matter how smart they made the system it could still get confounded. Someone decided to go back to the basics and look at insects, which are just simple brains and ganglia. The result was a robotic bug named "Genghis" which had servos and sensors, and no computerized brain. It was a huge success and was able to navigate terrain and obstacles with ease. After reading about this I named my car "Genghis." The damned thing ate a tree after I hydroplaned in a curve, limped home, and then took me to work. Talk about handling obstacles! am1933
I also liked the ZX81 - still own one, mint, in its box! I have one too and to say I like it would be too strong Some of the homebrew stuff coming out for the machine is amazing though-passable versions of H.E.R.O and beamrider no less. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jxLHEyMje54 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKwGg1knjuM Edited July 30, 2014 by am1933
+Vorticon
Yes, but these versions require a special memory expansion and hires modification, so I don't think they really qualify as truly native ZX81 games. Now check out this site http://www.bobs-stuff.co.uk/zx81.html for some awesome games running on the unexpanded hardware (with the 16K Rampack of course).
