Atariboy2600
A back history I was living in NYC in 1993 I first got the Jaguar 64 at Chinatown gaming store for $199 and then in 2014 my old Jag unit, Jag CD and many box games was stolen along with other systems and games. Anyway at first I assume I would fine an used Jag for dart cheap seeing how much of a epic frailer and no one wanted to buy it even for CIB for $20 but for what ever reason on ebay and other gaming store these things go for like Neo-Geo level of pricing, WHY? > Even the games are being ungodly amount of cost even on the crappy games. But last week in NYC I finally found a CIB Atari Jaguar system and two games for $250 and yes it works now all I need is the Jag CD (GOD DAMN the price on the unit alone @_@ ) and all the missing games witch I still have the full list I made in 2004 Games that was stolen: Atari Jag CD. Tempest 2000 soundtrack Mist (Demo) Blue Lightning Vid Grid Space Ace Brain Dead 13 Battlemorph Dragon's Lair Atari Jaguar games: Alien Vs Predator. (cart) Bubsy in Fractured Furry Tales. (cart/box) Checkered Flag. (-/box) Doom. (cart/box/overlay) Fight For Life. (cart/box) Hover Strike. (cart/box/overlay) Iron Soldier. (cart/box/overlay) Kasumi Ninja. (cart/box/manual) Missile Command 3D. (cart/box) Pitfall The Mayan Adventure. (cart/box) Raiden. (cart) Rayman. (cart) Suercross 3D. (cart/box) Tempest 2000. (cart/box) Trevor McFur in the Crescent Galaxy. (cart) Ultra Vortek. (cart/box) Val d'Isere Skiing And Snowboarding. (cart/box) White Man Can't Jump. (cart/box + Team Tap App) Wolfenstein 3D. (cart/box/manual) Zool 2. (cart/box) Trying to fine any of these games and unit on the cheap will not going to happen in my life time I just hope to get the time to fine them again before I leave this world:P
Machine
Sorry about your Jag stuff getting stolen, that sucks. I lost my entire collection in a fire 5 years ago and know how difficult it can be to find replacement games at good prices. Pick up REBOOTEROIDS! It is for sale at the AA store and is by far one of the best games for the system! They also carry nice rotary controllers, great for Tempest 2000 and Rebooteroids. Kal
Hey man- sorry about losing your original units and games. I stupidly sold mine in the early 2000s for peanuts. Sold the Jag CD for about £30! Who knew? Anyway- where your things not Insured? You cant be worried about replacing Trevor McFur- that game is horrendous. What I would suggest is getting on the Atari st thread and start ordering those as they are announced. Another must haves a skunk board. Loads of guys on here have been so helpful with me when I got one- there are loads of home brew roms and roms sets including the games you had stolen. Have fun rebuilding your collection- Ive somehow got myself 20nplus games since last summer. More than half of them are homebrew carts or ones from Atari Age. Jeff Minter classics and rebooteroids are must haves. If you do go down the skunk boardcroute- drop me a message and Ill give you all the help I can. Its good to pay it forward.
Stage_1_Boss
Welcome back to the Jaguar, it's still as wonky as you remember, but that's why we like it, right? = )

I live in NYC. What store, out of curiosity? I picked up Cannon Fodder at Videogames New York in East Village a while back. It was ~$20 CIB. My Jag stopped working a while back and I dropped it off at J&L Game in Midtown about 5 weeks ago. They keep asking me for one more week every time I call them. So we'll see if they can actually get it purring again.

I even made a chart list on what Im looking for in NYC
