+therealbountybob
OK We'll call that it for saving the planet! It's congratulations to McKong for the win on Computer War and to Mr Trust for winning at War Games and at least giving deteacher a good challenge! Welcome again to the new players, I've probably given out way too many HSC points for War Games but there will be another catch-up round later in the season (so that I can catch back up with McKong) nothing to see here final tables on my previous post (above) OK next round in 10 mins...
carlsson
Does anyone else think it's odd that there were two games released for the 8-bits based on Wargames? The "official" Wargames release from Coleco, and Computer War, which the manual and title screen state is "based on the hit movie Wargames". How did that happen?? As a matter of fact, ANTIC The Atari 8-bit podcast published an episode with Colin Hume back in April 2018. Supposedly Computer War began as "WarGames" but either the top party at Thorn EMI or the one from the movie company was ill so they never got to sign the agreement. Thus the game was renamed?! http://ataripodcast.libsyn.com/antic-interview-335-colin-hume-computer-war

You might have missed that I pin the current round and then un-pin them afterwards, join in as you wish If you want to post scores for missed rounds we will have another "catch-up and improve round" before the season ends
tane
Thanks, I like the game so I don't mind to be out of date. It could be a good idea to organize the titles with date numbers, it's a bit confusing now. For example: '2018 - October: HSC15 Round 17'.
