PitfallHarry77
I had a look at some more footage of Mappy and that is an absolute must buy when it comes out. It blows my mind how good it is. The list keeps getting longer of essential purchases. That Jex is a good take on Qix and I would be interested to see it as well. Has the basic idea.
classicgamer74
Now you guys are making me want to try zookeeper. I never heard of it. I have to agree on Demolition Derby. I loved that game. You guys are probably going to laugh at me but I had hours playing Pot of Gold back in the day. Mat Mania was good but the 7800 version was really bad. Star Path might have been able to do it, though.
+SpiceWare
Thanks for that SpiceWare!! That footage of Mappy is incredible and way beyond my expectations of what would be possible. I cant wait to see it completed. Can play it now if you want, the ROMs in the Mappy homebrew topic. I think the June 6th build is the latest public release.
+SpiceWare
Frenzy Hasn't been updated in a few years, but is part of Frantic which is both Bezerk: and Frenzy: When playing the Frenzy variation some walls are drawn using flicker of every-other-brick, those walls reflect shots. I'll soon be rebooting Frenzy to use SpiceC, with the goal of having a playable version to demo at PRGE and release the finished version next year.

PitfallHarry77
I had a go at Mappy and it controls really well and I was very impressed. I can add it to a growing list of Atari 2600 arcade ports which are just as fun as the original and some even more so. Frenzy also looks really great and I particularly like the fluid movement of the main character. There is a lot of fun to be had with it. Anyone know if DK Arcade is set for a cartridge release?? It is the one where everything is on one screen as opposed to Donkey Kong VCS where it scrolls up. I would like to buy a PAL version of it if there are plans to release it. It is another top quality port and I really like the difficulty level which makes it very addictive.
