I am living in South Africa and used to own a beige TI-99/4A box, with third party tape recorder, Speech Synth, Munchman, Alpiner, TE II and Mini Memory. I sometimes had access to PEB, XB, and E/A.

 

Was this console a 2.2?

 

Anyway, I am looking to get back in the game (at this stage not looking at TIPI, but that might be an future add on).

 

I am looking to find an European (UK) console (or console with the F18? mod), 220v power supply, tape recorder, and Speech Synth.

 

What would you recommend for memory expansion? PEB, Nano PEB? or 32K expansion card. Does the 1MB AMS give any problems?

 

What about storage? Again PEB or something else?

 

I am also looking at perhaps the Finalgrom99 cart, but I do not have any idea of how to load images on that (Too lazy to read everything about it, sorry).

 

I would appreciate any and all help you can give.

 

If someone has such an unused system please give me a shout. (Mike W from CADD asked Stephen Shaw in England for help, and he suggested that I contact David Caine. The email address I received was only partial. Anyone have his email address).
